He was born on March 22, 1992 in Changanassery, Kottayam district to Mathew Joseph and Regina August. Roshan's primary education was at Kottayam Kendriya Vidyalaya. He graduated with a BSc in Physics from Madras Christian College, Chennai. After that he joined the Mumbai Drama School. Roshan was interested in acting during his school days. She also acted in school plays. While studying in Chennai, he got the opportunity to act in professional plays.
