Naslen K Gafoor was born in Kodungallur in Thrissur district. Born the son of Gafoor and Zeenat. He has an older brother, Nasmaleen, and a twin brother, Nahasen. Although he started his career as a junior artiste with Mammootty starrer Madhuraraja, Girish Eddie became famous in Malayalam cinema for his role as Melvin in Dinoy Paul's super hit film Thanneermathan.
